Merry Christmas everyone, great news that the album is now completed, mastered and very soon Antony will be unveiling the album cover with full track listings. In the meantime here are two full length mp3s which are as near as dam the versions which will appear on the album.

The invisible line part 1 

Fading light

You will notice they are both on the short side but I can assure everyone there's a few longer epics on the cd, in all it's a good balance being 70+ minutes and available with a special bonus cd with extensive video footage of the making of the cd and some extra tracks.

With the festive period now upon us we will sort out all the copyright and license stuff ready to press the cd early in the new year, as an added bonus all those who have joined our mailing list will receive in January a link to listen to further tracks in full and the chance to purchase the 2 cd version at a special price.

General release of the cd will be in February 2009, so keep tuned as lots will be happening between now and then.

As promised Antony, Serge and myself are back with our update, below are work in progress demo clips from two very contrasting tracks and now having listened to clips from 4 of the forthcoming tracks you will have a good idea of what The Invisible Line is all about.

This week will see the completion of the recording which just leaves the reworking of the vocals and then the hard part the mastering which as before will be completed by Antony himself.

We are also recording most of the tracks for Karfagen 3, so sadly its release will now be later in December.

Track: Fading light    This will be one of the shorter and more simplistic tracks on the cd but also one of the most powerful emotionally, hopefully it demonstrates the versatility of both the writing and the scope of our music. it has a melody that stays with the listener and words that should strike a chord with most of us who have the fear of losing someone close to us hope you enjoy this demo mp3.

Track: Line In the Sand    Completely the opposite to Fading Light as this is a lengthy complex challenging tune that will take you through a kaleidoscope of musical passages that combine to use progressive rock in its full colours. as always we never use four notes where one will do nor repeat sections for the sake of it so even thought the track will be substantial we promise not a moment of self indulgence or boredom so give the early demo clip a listen its impossible to tell it all in the clip but it should wet your appetite for the main course later. To compliment its musical content there are melodic vocals hooks that weave through the track that we are very proud of, hope you enjoy it.

As promised, here are the first of hopefully many mp3s showing the recording in progress of the forthcoming  Sunchild cd "The invisible line", I can promise you that anyone who buys this cd and is not happy with the quality of the music will be given a full refund ! (details to follow) so lets get down to the tracks themselves.

As always Antony records the demo tracks with himself playing almost everything from keyboards and guitars to drums using his technical expertise to ensure that his musicians can hear their contributions ready for the studio recording.

As with the first album various musicians will be used including guitarists, drummers, cellist, oboist, saxophonist, singers and so on, as always from the birth of the demos Antony will have Serge by his side in the Ukraine and via Sykpe and Computer downloads myself here in the Uk. So lets get down to work.

Track: The Invisible Line part 1
The title track sets out the musical and lyrical message that weaves throughout the cd in simple terms, relationships and its memories, the mp3 here is still in its early format with live drums bass and guitars and lots more still to be added, replacing Antony's original demo playing, but I feel sure you hear enough from this version to let you form your own opinion of where the cd is going musically.

Track: Time and the tide
Again as with the title track lots of work still is taking place on this powerful and moving song and again it continues the message of life the passing of time and reflections of the good and the bad times we experience, hope you enjoy it.
